Baby enjoys this at 4 months old We got this before he was born. As a newborn he only tolerated a few minutes. Now, at 4 months old he can sit for about a half hour while I make dinner. Pros: has loops that are perfect for hanging toys from links - keeps him entertained and is a great learning opportunity- we hang the toys across between the loops and one above him, 'windows' were good for newborn to stare at, style looks good in home, safe, easy to use, the logo really doesn't bother me- most other products are much worse, cover is good if we are outside in the sun to protect his beautiful skin. Cons: baby can't bounce it himself, not as portable as they advertise, cover/windows decrease baby's view around him. I was worried that I spent too much when he was little and didn't like it as much, now I am VERY happy we have it.
Not for Petite Women This carrier is great if you are the right sized person. It will not work for someone who is petite. I am 5' 4", but very short waisted (long legs and no body). The waist strap is too high for me even if I put it around my hips. The body of the carrier is longer than my body. I didn't even have to try it with the baby in it to know it won't work for me.
That being said, if you aren't petite, this would be a great carrier. It has it all you could ask for: 3 positions, carrying pouch, bottle holder, etc. I seems to be well made too and it looks great.
Unfortunately, I will be returning it for the Combi Urban Carrier.
nice and warm very nice and warm for any little 49ers fan. It is sweater like so it will keep him warm during that col football season. Will recommend!
Love It!!! We purchased this stroller system (in a different color) in 2006. I still love it. The frame is solid, the wheels big and turn easy, folds great and quick set up, not that heavy, and the snugride car seat is a breeze to click in and out. I love the huge basket bellow, and it drops down to make it easy to get things out when stroller seat is reclined or you have the car seat clicked in. It is a bit stiff at first and hard to drop...but the more you use it the easier it gets. And if you live some place that gets freezing temps (we live in Alaska) the plastic viewing window in the canopy can freeze and crack if left outside in the car too long (like overnight). Otherwise this stroller has taken a beating with the extreme temps and done great. Compared to other strollers it is a bit heavy, but that is because of the solid construction. I am 5 foot and do just fine with it. This thing has gone through grass, sand, gravel, dirt, ice, snow, North Carolina heat, and Alaskan winters. Now, it isn't a jog-runner with those cool go anywhere wheels...but this thing can hold its own just fine. We have a Honda Odyssey mini van and it fits just fine in the "trunk" with all 3 rows up with room left over for groceries. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Plus, the car seat is awesome. It clicks in and out of the base to stroller in a flash. Easy to install, easy to clean and has a great safety record. We purchased a second snugride car seat and the quattro tour duo stroller when we had our twins (they are now 5 months old).
