Effective AND versatile
I requested this product on my baby registry, being familiar with (and a fan of) other Softress products, and received it as a shower gift. Another mom advised that I could use it not only on my baby but on my own skin as well, particularly for stretch marks. I rubbed it on my tummy, hips and sides regularly while I was pregnant, and I can honestly say I have NO marks! I also rubbed it on my cracked, sore nipples while I was breastfeeding. It's extremely soothing, and since it's odorless it didn't interfere with my baby latching on, nor was I worried that she'd ingest any weird chemicals. So it's been wonderful for me as well as baby -- I've bought two more bottles and given one as a gift to another mama-to-be as well! Highly recommended.

Beware! Don't buy extra cartridges!
This toy has been around for quite a few years and has been through several design changes. All the models before the latest one accepted the various cartridges. This one does not. There is a switch that lets you change between three music styles. Amazon still hasn't caught on to this and is featuring a cartridge with the machine in it's "better together" promo. If you want a machine that accepts cartridges you will have to buy an old one off of EBAY. That's what I did after I bought a bunch of cartridges and then bought the new machine and found out they wouldn't work in it.

I too bought two (sage and ivory) for extra sheets. Very happy with the purchase. Great quality and easily fits my 6 inch deep crib mattress. Had no problems when washing them.

These are not soft - they are hard plastic! But at least they do work.
These seemed like a great idea for baby-proofing, since all the other door jambs like this have pieces that come off and are a choking hazard, the one-piece construction was what I was looking for. However, they are not "soft" in any way - they are all one hard piece of plastic! They work and all, but if you were to slam the door hard, I'm afraid they could leave a hole in our (cheap hollow) doors! I'm upset that I was looking for something soft or with some give to it so as to protect the wall AND the door. If I knew of a substitute product, I'd recommend that, but I'm not sure if what I was looking for exists. However, the product does prevent the doorknob from making a hole in my walls and it's baby safe. So it still gets 2 stars.
